Agents of the ATESH partisan movement claimed to have destroyed a communications tower in Russia's Oryol region, which Russian military forces allegedly used to operate drones. The sabotage disrupted the stability of the UAV's communications and control channels, ATESH reports. According to the movement, the operation was carried out near the village of Zhudersky. Repeaters were installed on the tower, providing a stable signal and allowing Russian drones to be controlled in that direction. After the equipment was disabled, the operating range of the relevant systems was reduced and communication channels became less stable, ATESh claims. According to partisans, Russian UAV operators are forced to find new locations for their equipment and reconfigure their frequencies. This has allegedly caused delays in completing missions. ATESH stated that it continues to conduct sabotage operations behind Russian lines and transmit information about Russian military facilities to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. There is no independent confirmation yet of the consequences of this operation.
