On September 23, 2024 a group of U.S. Air Force F-16s were scrambled to intercept two Russian Tu-95 Bear bombers escorted by two Su-35s. Once they arrived, the American F-16s got a first-hand look at why Russian fighter pilots are often described as “unsafe and unprofessional.”
