In the few weeks before the Soviets launched their massive assault on Berlin, the Germans tried desperately to slow the Red Army's build-up by destroying vital bridges on the Oder River. Using a variety of strange new weapons, from guided missiles to combination bombers called Mistels, a series of mad missions were launched in the last weeks of the war in Europe.
