Ukrainian Defence Forces have destroyed a Russian ammunition depot storing 152 mm artillery shells in Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia region, the 7th Air Assault Corps said. According to the corps’ press centre, Ukrainian units first detected an ammunition truck moving through the city and monitored its movements until it reached a shelter inside a hangar. The target was struck less than three and a half hours after it was identified. Pilots from the 225th Separate Assault Regiment carried out the strike in coordination with the 7th Air Assault Corps. The attack detonated approximately 60 152 mm artillery shells stored at the site. The ammunition truck was hit directly inside the shelter by a single FPV drone. The 414th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade, known as “Birds of Magyar,” conducted aerial reconnaissance and provided visual confirmation of the strike, according to the military. The operation involved several Defence Forces units working together to detect the target, transmit its coordinates, carry out the strike and conduct subsequent reconnaissance.
