Italy is taking a big step forward in modern naval power. The Italian Navy plans to test and use a new Bayraktar TB3 on its flagship aircraft carrier (the Cavour) and its newest and biggest ships (the ITS Trieste). The Navy is interested in buying the TB3 system. It will operate from the deck of its aircraft carrier – the Cavour and Trieste. It fits well with Italy’s needs for surveillance and carrying weapons.
