After both the U.S. and Israel launched military actions against Iran, Iran announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz on March 1. On the same day, three oil tankers were attacked by Iranian missiles. One of these tankers, the “Skylight,” was hit, causing it to catch fire and begin sinking.
