On February 28, 2026, during the first day of a joint U.S.-Israeli strike against Iran, the Iranian military launched fifty-two of China’s latest supersonic anti-ship missiles, the CM-302, targeting the U.S. Navy’s USS Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group. These missiles, dubbed “carrier killers,” failed miserably. Not a single missile hit its target.
