Hamid Ghanbari, Iran’s deputy foreign minister, says the timing of today’s US-Israeli strikes on Iran during a new round of nuclear talks is “deeply troubling”.Such timing “breaks trust and raises serious doubt about the commitment to a peaceful solution”, Ghanbari said in an interview with Al Jazeera.Ghanbari added that Iran has the right to defend itself and regrets any humanitarian loss caused by the current military escalation.
