On Dec 29 to 30, China launched dozens of rockets toward Taiwan and deployed a significant number of naval vessels and military aircraft around the island as part of large-scale exercises dubbed “Justice Mission 2025”. The drills represent one of the most expansive demonstrations of Chinese military power directed at Taiwan in recent years.China’s live-fire activities appear to have triggered heightened readiness measures on the Taiwanese side, including the movement of the island’s highly secretive Hsiung Feng IIE (HF-2E) land-attack cruise missile. Although development of the missile is believed to date back to the early 2000s, the system has been rarely observed in public, making its recent appearance particularly noteworthy.Observers reported a transporter-erector-launcher (TEL) associated with the HF-2E missile system moving southward from Hualien toward Taitung along Taiwan’s southeastern coast. The redeployment suggests a deliberate effort to disperse high-value strike assets and enhance survivability amid escalating regional tensions. In this video, Defense Updates analyzes why China would be wary of Taiwan’s secretive Hsiung Feng-IIE missile ?#defenseupdates #HsiungFengIIE #taiwanvschina Chapters:0:00 TITLE00:11 INTRODUCTION01:31 SPONSORSHIP – NordVPN02:05 SECRETIVE WEAPON 03:26 HSIUNG FENG-IIE OVERVIEW05:07 HSIUNG FENG-IIE CAPABLITIES07:29 ANALYSIS
