General Atomics has delivered another FQ-42 Vengeance aircraft to Creech Air Force Base, Nevada, where it will continue participating in routine flight testing and evaluation activities.
The delivery comes as the Vengeance continues to demonstrate its ability to operate alongside crewed combat aircraft. During a recent test, the FQ-42 flew alongside F-35 and F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft, supporting the development of crewed-uncrewed teaming concepts.
General Atomics Vice President of Advanced Programs Mike Atwood said in a release:
“Every week, the Air Force is pushing forward with new and more impressive accomplishments using Vengeance. It’s amazing to think of how far this program has come in such a short amount of time”
The latest announcement comes approximately two months after Creech Air Force Base conducted an Agile Combat Employment exercise involving Anduril’s FQ-44 Fury.
It is evident that just like the Anduril’s offering, General Atomics’s FQ-42 Vengeance is also maturing pretty well. Let us take a deeper look.
