Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth called a short-notice meeting that happened early this morning, September 30, of all U.S. military generals and admirals – one star and above – along with their senior enlisted leaders at Marine Corps University located aboard Quantico Marine Corps base about 30 miles south of Washington DC.The meeting was for those in command billets only as opposed to those in staff billets. It’s unclear exactly how many military officers attended, but estimates from some sources go as high as 1,000 personnel. The Pentagon didn’t not publish a public agenda or give any indication what the unprecedented gathering was for, and reports suggested that the high-ranking attendees, which included combatant commanders in charge of the Middle East and western Pacific areas of responsibility, were also unaware of why they’d been summoned on such short notice, basically given four days to clear their calendars and get to Quantico.In this livestream, Mooch reviews the highlights of the event.
