The user said that currently 75% of top-tier hospitals across China are operating at a loss. To cut costs, some hospitals have removed all employees with master’s degrees and kept only those with doctoral degrees. Some hospitals have laid off cleaners and security guards and outsourced those positions. Hospitals across China have already eliminated 120,000 positions.
