The US Air Force has removed all of its bombers from RAF Fairford, the Pentagon has said.
US officials did not say why the planes had returned home.
The Gloucestershire air base was the target of a suspected terror attack on 27 September.
Five UK nationals were arrested on suspicion of explosives offences and terrorism close to the military site but were later released on bail.
