The results achieved in resolving the long-standing conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia through dialogue are a good example for the entire region.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia, Tone Kajzer
"I welcome the results achieved by Azerbaijan and Armenia towards resolving the long-standing conflict. This process, supported by the United States and the international community, shows that it is possible to find a solution through dialogue," the minister emphasized.
According to him, replacing conflict with dialogue benefits the people of both countries.
"When there is peace and security, opportunities for economic development and prosperity also arise. The progress of Azerbaijan and Armenia through dialogue and peace is a good example for the entire region," the minister said.
The implementation of the TRIPP project, in addition to expanding transport links between Azerbaijan and Armenia, can significantly increase the role of the South Caucasus in the international logistics system. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this in his speech at the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
Pashinyan said that the project envisages the creation of an unobstructed connection between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic through the territory of Armenia.
According to the Prime Minister, after nearly 35 years of conflict, the parties are now discussing the possibility of creating pipelines, power lines and highways, along with an East-West railway, within the framework of TRIPP. He said that the implementation of these projects could create new economic and transport opportunities for the entire South Caucasus.
