The U.S. Army’s NEW Abrams Tank Can Launch Kamikaze Drones – What if an Abrams tank could launch a drone to see beyond a hill and potentially engage a target without exposing its crew? That’s the concept behind PERCH 2.0, a new launcher developed by General Dynamics Land Systems with AeroVironment for platforms including the M1A2 Abrams SEPv3 and Stryker. The system is designed to launch Switchblade 300 loitering munitions while allowing crews to remain protected inside the vehicle.
