The Singapore Army has officially unveiled the SIGMA 155, a revolutionary ten by ten wheeled self-propelled howitzer designed to replace both the legacy SSPH1 Primus and the towed FH2000. In this military documentary breakdown, we go inside the heavily protected armored cabin to discover how an advanced robotic autoloader allows just three soldiers to operate one of the most powerful fifty-two-caliber artillery platforms in Asia. Discover how this automated super howitzer deploys and fires within sixty seconds, executing multiple rounds simultaneous impact missions with ranges extending from forty to over seventy kilometers. Integrated into Singapore's advanced Sense and Strike C4I network alongside M142 HIMARS, this mobile platform completely reshapes island defense doctrine and urban survivability while addressing modern demographic challenges. Explore the cutting-edge engineering, tactical shoot-and-scoot mobility, and potential battlefield vulnerabilities of this next-generation autonomous artillery system.
