In April 2024, Iran’s much-anticipated attack on Israel came. This was not a small-scale raid but a large and complex onslaught consisting of drones as well as ballistic and cruise missiles. But Israel aided by U.S. was able to defend itself.IDF reported that all 170 Drones were intercepted, all 30 Cruise missiles were taken down and only 7 out of 120 Ballistic missiles went through. This is an incredible achievement since it constitutes a super interception rate, with more than 300 targets taken down in a single day.In the last three days, India has accomplished something similar as Pakistan launched a large aerial campaign after India struck 9 terror camps as part of Operation Sindoor in response to the Pahalgam terror attack.Colonel Sofiya Qureshi of Indian Army explained the nature of the attack, “On the night of May 7 and 8, the Pakistani army violated Indian airspace several times over the entire western border with the intention of targeting military infrastructure. Not only this, the Pakistani army also fired heavy caliber weapons along the Line of Control. Around 300 to 400 drones were used to attempt infiltration at 36 locations.”The drones included Turkish Songar.Apart from these Pakistan fired Fatah 2 ballistic missile and used F-16 and JF-17 fighter jets.Unfortunately for Pakistan, this attack didn’t work since India deployed a holistic Anti Access Area Denial (A2/AD) umbrella which includes S-400 , MRSAM, Akash, Spyder, and L70.In this video, Defense Updates analyzes how India managed to thwart Pakistani aerial onslaught with its layered air defense system ?Let’s check each component one by one.#defenseupdates #operationsindoor #indiapakistanwar Chapters:0:00 TITLE00:11 INTRODUCTION02:06 SPONSORSHIP – NordVPN02:40 L70 GUN04:01 SPYDER05:26 AKASH07:56 MRSAM
