Ballistic rockets have come along way from the German V2 of WW2 to the Trident II D5 and RS-28 Sarmat ICMB’s of today, to become the most feared weapons in the world. But if we put aside what their ultimate purpose is, how do they get half way around the world with terminal accuracies of less than 100 metres without any help form GPS. In this video we will look and the history and how they came from a primitive guidance to be some of the highest engineered pieces of equipment in the world.
