Armed Russian MiG-31s enter NATO airspace, intercepted by F-35s

Three armed Russian fighters entered NATO airspace earlier today, September 19th. The MiG-31s reported flew into Estonian airspace on course toward the nation’s capital of Tallinn, before circling inside the nation’s airspace until they were intercepted by Italian F-35s deployed to Estonia in support of NATO’s Baltic Air Policing mission.
