Explosions continue at a major ammunition depot of the Russian Defense Ministry and emergency situation has been decard in the area following a Ukrainian attack, local media reported on Tuesday. According to TASS, citing emergency services, authorities have begun evacuating residents from seven settlements, including the village of Barsovo, where an ammunition depot is located. The Ukrainian strike targeted the military facility in Russia’s Vladimir region, 190 kilometers east of Moscow. A second explosion has been reported in the depot. It should be noted that the targeted military facility has a capacity of 4,286 wagons of ammunition, which is more than 264,000 tons. However, 105,000 tons are in storage currently. Artillery shells, missiles for MLRS, components of the S-300 air defense system, and Tochka-U tactical missiles are stored in storage facilities and open areas of the Russian Defence Ministry’s depot.
